Jessica I'm Sorry

I'm sorry Jess for not posting anything for so long! But we really have had a pretty uneventful life for the last couple of months.

My life has involved--
1--Driving the kids back and forth to school
2--Driving the kids back and forth to soccer practice/games
3--Driving the kids back and forth from dance
4--The kids driving me crazy (just kidding).
5--Driving the kids back and forth to dentists/orthodontist appointments
6--Driving back and forth to Sam's Club and the grocery store
7--Dealing with sick kids/husband/self.
8--Wishing that spring/warm weather would arrive.
9--Getting big and fat!
10--Getting the yard started
11--Watching the Jazz! GO JAZZ!

I feel like I live in my car more than my house. We are on the count down until school gets out so we can switch schools and have a little less car time!

This winter was a rough one for us. It has been so cold, and every sickness that has gone around, we have all caught. Sam had a mild case of pneumonia. Maddie, Brin, and I all had the flu. Richard got hit hard with the flu (had to go to Instacare because he couldn't breathe. I thought he was having a stroke).

Brinley started it by, as she likes to say it "puking all over my mom at the Jazz game." This is a lovely story that let's you know you are a mom! Richard and I had our regular Jazz tickets to one of the last regular season Jazz games. Sam got tickets to the same game from Jr. Jazz. So the girls and I sat in our regular seats, and Sam and Richard sat way up in the nose bleeds. It was just past half time, and we had a traditional bowl of ice cream just about polished off. Brin was standing up, but laying her head on my lap, and just started throwing up all over me. My pants were covered! Really cute, a big fat pregnant lady with junk all over her lap! I'm sure everyone thought I either wet my pants, or my water broke. It looked REALLY bad. The cute lady sitting next to me was trying to grab jackets to save them. I grabbed them out of her hand to try to catch some of the puke. I didn't want anyone to have to clean up too much of the mess. I called Richard and told him to come down. I stripped Brinley down to her diaper, and we left. I rode home in my unders, because I couldn't stand the smell anymore! It was a lovely night, and anytime you mention anything about the Jazz, bring will tell you that "she puked all over my mom at the Jazz game!" She's so proud!

Sam and Maddie are doing awesome in soccer this year. Maddie scored the first goal of the season for her team! Sam is still the scoring king on his team. He averages 4 or 5 goals a game. Richard won't let him score too many more than that. The games are getting fun to watch. It's fun to see the kids starting to understand the game and want to play!

We found out that Sam is going to need pretty serious orthodontic work starting here in about 6 months. As soon as he loses his 2 top teeth, he'll get spacers to spread out his top jaw. Let the fun begin.

We still don't have any names for this baby, and I'm starting to panic. I'm 30 weeks, and I am the least prepared for this baby. Poor thing, she is already the last child syndrome. We are still accepting ideas for names, so please share. Right now Lauren and Ellie are my choices. Sorry Jess, but I don't have any pictures of me and my big belly. I had been measuring smaller than my normal, but at my last visit, I caught up, I am now measuring 3 weeks ahead!

We have done some landscaping in our backyard and it looks really cool. Here are a few pictures!

Kate, it is so good to know that you guys are alive and well. This really has been a killer winter! Sorry to hear that you have had to deal with all the winter bugs. Hope everyone is feeling better and stays that way. I love the names you are considering. Don't panic - you will get ready and all will be fine! The yard looks gorgeous. Let's do lunch before you deliver.
